ABOUT ME
My name is David and I'm a 26 year old game programmer based in Stockholm, Sweden.
How I got into game programming
My journey as a Game programmer started in july of 2025. When I got a new computer that would finally be able to handle Unreal Engine. I started making a 3D sidescroller project with combat and a bunch of enemies and effects - following plenty of blueprint tutorials. From that day, I just knew that this is my true career path. Gaming was always a part of my life ever since I was very young, and I always found my self gaming - but working in other creative fields, never did I even have the thought of creating games myself. 2 months later (August 2025) I applied to Forsbergs School - Game Programming.

Background
In 2015 I got into Graphic Design. I began playing around in Photoshop and got my first paid gig - a Cover Art for a musician I met in a Call of Duty lobby. Shortly after, I started studying Digital Arts and kept freelancing outside of school. In short - since then, I've explored plenty of creative fields such as Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Art Direction and Fashion Design to name a few. A big part of my come-up was actually from fashion, and how I built a huge international network. Working in the music industry as a creative brought me plenty of connections and opportunities, and I quickly realized that a lot of these musicians need ONE person that can do many different things, and I became that guy.

Interests
I spend my days doing what I love. Creating games, listening to music and learning whatever new thing I found interesting that day. I'm also a huge Rocket League fan, so I make sure to get a few games in between study sessions - not sure how much peace that brings me though, but I enjoy competitive games a lot.
Music has always been a huge interest as well, as you can tell from my background - I've been around music, artists and studios for a long time, music brings me tons of inspirations and I love switching from new school trap/hiphop to some old ABBA. Besides this I have a big interest in health and wellness, I love drinking my herbs tea and learning about the body. Also plants, I have like 25 different plants at home, so taking care of them is a core part of my day.
